Most dudes get old… but Warren Haynes just mellows like a fine wine, sounding better and better over time. Rock on… peace

One man, one guitar, one microphone. Mix well with one HELL of a SONG, and you end up with PURE PERFECTION.

Warren has always had that Carolina blues down deep in his soul. Ain't no wonder why his music is home to me.

The song was written by Chris Anderson and Warren Haynes and was first recorded by Anderson on his solo release in 1995 with Haynes supporting. Anderson is a fine guitarist in his own right and plays currently with the Outlaws.

This is absolutely touching... full of emotions and yet still strong as a rock... I am a new listener to this genre, but I think I just probably have found the best :)

I realize this song is on the Allman Bros. album Hittin the Note (2003), but it was originally done on a Chris Anderson album of the same name that was released in 1995.  According to the notes to that album, the song was written by Chris Anderson and Warren Haynes (who performs on the album).  Hittin the Note also credits the song to Anderson and Haynes.  So, I'm not sure if you should refer to this as "The Allman Brothers song".  It is an excellent tune.
