Some of my images are in landscape and some are in portrait orientation. After batch converting them with the suggested method, all images will have a white lane either on the bottom or on the right side, depending on their orientation. How to avoid this? (I don't want to remove the background, just simply transform their format without any other change)Thank you in advance.

I don’t see remove background in properties it says there are no properties when I open the box, how can I fix this?
