Nanomechaics for Biomaterials and Soft Matter

Industron, channel partner of Bruker Nano Inc, brings a focused seminar on characterizing and understanding the mechanics of Biomaterials and Soft Matter. Studying the mechanical response of biomaterials and soft matter as shown in the figure below has received much attention in recent years. Indentation is a popular mechanical characterization technique capable of non-destructive and in-situ measurements of biomaterials that can provide a greater understanding of its characteristics. The talks will demonstrate the use of Bio AFM and Nanoindentation Technique to investigate the structure, mechanics, and dynamics of biological systems. Research community from both academia and industry is encouraged to participate. We will be happy to discuss the research problems and certain that it will have fruitful results for research community.
