It's been six months since I started working on this stone beauty. This is the thirteenth episode about the renovation of an old house from 1957 last century. I finally prepared one room and made walls, floor, and heating. It is no longer a problem to stay at my property for a few days. I can keep warm, I can cook and I have a place to sleep. In this episode, you will see the creation of a ceramic floor in imitation of wood. I chose ceramics for a simple reason, it is easy to maintain. I am also installing an old cast iron stove, the so-called The Queen, which I bought at the second-hand market.

That is a gorgeous wood stove! This is so much fun to watch and I’m glad you’re taking the time to film. We have a lot of home renovation shows on TV (at least in the US) but most have constant generic electric guitar music and show hosts bickering over manufactured drama. And then every house comes out looking the same in the end. Your show is so much better and your house will be one-of-a-kind for sure!

It's looking good. I remember my father in law was rebuilding his grandfathers house in Poland and it looked bad like this did in the beginning. So it reminds me of the progress as I went back there every few years and now it is all finished (for a few years now)
