The band Flying Circus was founded in the winter 1989/1990 in Grevenbroich. The five musicians draw their influences from the spheres of both Hard Rock and Progressive Rock. Up until now, the band has released four albums: Seasons (1997), Out of the Waste Land (2000), Pomp (2004) and Forth (2010), the latter's release coinciding with the band's twentieth anniversary. To commemorate this fact, 'Forth' was also released as a deluxe edition containing a bonus CD with 13 rerecordings of the band's earliest compositions which were hitherto unavailable. After a line-up change in 2011/2012, Flying Circus have just released an EP called 'Ones and Zeros'.

A "Best of" in the live format, commemorating this long-standing German Classic Rock band's 25th anniversary. Flying Circus has been around in Germany's Hard Rock/Prog Rock scene for more than 25 years now. This live recording is a document of their 25th anniversary show, captured in 2015 at Elsdorf's wonderfully old-fashioned "USK Cinema". It contains live recordings of songs from all their previous releases and their 2016 album "Starlight Clearing". It is a great introduction to this cult band and its imaginative and often dramatic music.

still my favourite track from the first album, which I got from them after their gig in Neuss-Erftal 1997, 2 or 3 of their later records I got in exchange with my own Lamb's Friends records from their nice singer, also a Thin Crow (their classic Rock cover project) live DVD - keep on rocking, guys!
