I've been going through so much lately and I haven't truly been connected with God lately. I used to read my bible every day, worship Him every day, and pray continuously. However, with everything going on I sort of have been so distant, not touching my bible, praying occasionally, and turning on a worship song here and there while falling back into old sins. I still went to church multiple times throughout the week, but I always left sort of empty because even though I was there and God's presence was there, I never truly allowed Him in these past few weeks. I randomly decided to listen to some Christian music while I get some school done and out of nowhere, I started to break down in tears. I just prayed my heart out to God. I had a genuine desire to open my bible and just start reading in Romans and so I did I was so proud of myself and so thankful that I serve a God of true love and mercy. I have been repeatedly listening to this song for a while now because I am just so happy to feel this freedom in my heart like the weight has been lifted off my chest. I can only pray that I will continue to have this feeling and desire for God because this is the best I have felt in months.
