Getting crushed by the extraction shuttle has nothing on getting roasted in the extraction shuttle jet wash.

I've died to every one of those. Some embarrassing things you missed:
- dying by walking into a random bottomless hole.
- dying by bouncing a grenade off a bug's armor and into your own face.
- dying by throwing a contact grenade and getting "GET DOWN MR. PRESIDENT!" by some random bug.
- Dying by cooking a grenade too long.
- Dying by ragdolling while holding an orbital bombardment strategem (which falls to the ground and activates).
- Dying by throwing a strategem and getting it stuck on your, or a teammates, shield.
- Dying by sticking a strategem on a bug, who promptly brings it right back to you like a dog playing fetch.
- Dying to your sentry turrents by getting between them and the enemy.
- Dying to your mortar sentry by forgetting about it and getting too close to the enemy.
- Dying while walking around in your new mech due to squishing a charger corpse, which happens to set off the hellbomb charge it was laying next to....

Did you know some bullets can ricochet off of bug carapace? There's a clip of someone shooting a charger with an autocanon and it bounced off, killing another helldiver.

as per my personal experience, I got to use the flamethrower the first time. Relished in hellfire as I scorched the earth to make a moat of flames... then proceed to walk through said flames, giving me my first ever death in the game.

The flamethrower was not a strategem. I picked it up in one of them sites of interest so I was level 1 when this happened.

I don't know which made me laugh harder. "When you're smashed flat into human jam, " or "guess they'll be extracting ME from the landing gear with a high- powered hose for the rest of the afternoon." Comedy gold 🤣

Getting thrown off a cliff because of the backblast from a teammates rocket launcher is probably the most embarrassing way ive died.

Last night while running in the Creek, I died, was called back in, and dropped my pod directly into a thermal vent and died again

Did y’all know you can kill divers inside of the extraction shuttle? I didn’t until a moment of anger at a guy boarding it 20 seconds before we could summon our last guy, in which I unloaded into the ship and he tragically passed

Using the auto cannon behind cover, only to pull the trigger when the barrel is just slightly too low, resulting in me blasting my cover and exploding my limbs. It’s definitely happened more than once.

I feel like a lot of "Death-Hole" related accidents are missing. Be it accidentally diving into them when you try to dodge enemy attacks or seeing what happens when you throw a Grenade down there...

1. Calling in a support weapon and being killed not by the pod but the rocky debris the pod kicked up.
2. Accidentally setting yourself on fire with your flamethrower.
3. Cliff diving into cover because you thought you could avoid taking fall damage if you did it.
