The Bangalore - Shimoga Passenger departs quickly from Malleswaram after a brief halt with its WDG3A class locomotive chugging and smoking furiously. The train accelerated faster from Malleswaram than the Shimoga Passenger did from Bangalore City, at this spot! :D
Video by my friend Santhosh; Natarajan and me can be seen hurrying out of the way as the camera pans with the loco :D

This engineer drives correct alco:he didn"t apply all the power at the beggining, , , he lets thar the engine rises slowly until him has a rpm correct for to apply more power, , , , apply all the power at ralenti, , , the consequence is a lot of smoke, , , charger doesn"t work at low rpm engine, , , , better at medium and high rpm, , , the charger begin to work with more efficiency and less smoke.
