After studying 5 years of french at school, happily i can say I'm b1 in french.

Depressed. I took all the proficiency tests I could find and am STILL A2 a year after starting my studies. I've been to France, understood nearly everything I heard... but still testing low. I will drown my sorrows in wine and stuff them with cheese, then proceed to watch every one of your vids.

Based on this, I'm at B1 level but I know I'm definitely not there in real life 😆. A2 is more like it.

I'm still a beginner, most of my French knowledge comes from Duolingo and one class of French. I'd love to be fluent in French and Chinese someday, but I suspect it will take many years.

I can read and understand up to B1 but I can only hear and understand up to A2. Being hard of hearing makes language learning so difficult 😭
