I MISS THIS SHOE SO MUCH. DC needs to bring it back. I skated 5 pairs of these.... I've never skated more than 2 of a shoe before. If it came back and was still reasonably priced I might never skate anything else again.

You can't hate DC. If it isn't your shoe cool, I'm not head over heels in love with DC's but they have had some good shoes and I recognize that. In all honesty if it wasn't for DC the way skate shoes are produced wouldn't be around, they created the pro model concept and you have to acknowledge the fact that they contributed majorly to the modern skateboard industry. If it isn't your shoe oh well but some people like them so don't be so quick to hate.

Vans is more for grip and board feel, which is what was used when people were always skating vert and pools. So before people were doing ollies and other flat ground tricks. So Vans was designed for the vert skater not the street skater. But Van's has some good shoes lately like the type 2 and the TNT 5.

My friend bought these and i asked if i could try em out. Board feel is not great but not bad. You still have board feel but not like janoski's or chukka lows and shoes like that. SOOOO sick looking, They last FOREVER havent ripped yet and my friend rides em hard.

@sempleking because they have the money to. its corporate skateboarding. look around. mikey taylor=left etnies for dc. chriscole=left fallen for dc. rumors for shane o neill and nyjah will be on the team. notice all their riders all compete in that wack street league contest. its just super lame.

@Harmonator94 you have to be kidding me. The only people who qualified for street league were the same dude who qualified last year. I watched the qualification and guys like Rieder or Mo did fantastic but somehow they didn't meet the expactations.

what about the half-cab. the tony trujillo pro model. vans makes so many shoes that are good for skating. you must have only wore the authentics because yea those suck for skating.

Yeah Vans was the first skate shoe, not arguing with that, but DC did have the first synthetic shoe back in '98 which is what a lot of skate shoes use today.

i dont see why everyone is hating on DC and street league. Street league is sick to watch. and DC shoes are pretty tight. and there team is getting sick too

DC has for sure changed for the better. Restructured with a new team. Top quality skate shoes that rival Nike. I support them all the way.

Vans stopped being a skate company when more non skaters bought them, than actual skaters. Vans is even more sellout than DC

dude, every skate shoe exept NB Numeric are made in China. If DC was to be made in the US, any vulc model would be 100$ +
