Barely talked about it.
The non vvti older gen one model can prevent oil sludge by using full synthetic

Bulletproof motor, oil jelling occurs when morons don't change oil as needed

1mzfe oil gelling doesn’t come close to happening if you just change your oil with full synthetic and at the right intervals and not at 20, 000 miles or whatever. My 1mzfe has 300, 000 miles on it and it’s clean.

If you use full synthetic oil, you won’t have that sludge problem. Not sure why nobody mentions that as a fix.

My first one was retired at 375k still running like new. My second one has 295k still running strong. Never a problem ever. Change oil every 5k an use full synthetic. Zero sludge.

I drive a Camry 2000 LE which uses a 1MZ-FE Engine. I imported it from New Jersey in 2009. Odometer has 197, 998 miles. I ensure servicing is done at 3, 000 mile. I have never exceeded 3, 500 miles between engine services. My engine is clean and I love my car.

Owns a 1mzfe engine: nah it won't do that. If you change your oil on time for maintenance

Man, I totally thought I was gonna learn something about my engine that I don’t know already. My non-vvt car had some sludge when I first got it and I ran Valvoline Restore And Protect in it and this 150, 000 mile car’s engine looks like a 70, 000 engine on the inside after 1 oil change.

I do my oil change every 3, 000 Miles because of the gel issue.

Meanwhile my 1mz is chugging along at 366k miles, oil gel and all.

There are 400k+ 1mz engines, keep that oil changed.

Literally just change your oil regularly and service your pcv valve at the proper intervals and it won’t sludge

Don’t come for 1MZs like that lol they frequently last 300k+ unopened

My check engine light was on for a p1075 code for a 96 v6 Camry le which I just bought at 167, 000 but now it’s at 169, 540 nd now that I did a oil change the light turned off nd yeah I took it to az and back to cali mfkers are bulletproof but yeah no more engine light also bought it cheap for 800 cause it doesn’t go in R nd N but I jus stick a flat head in the shifter and unlocked it bc it couldn’t even go back in N so yeah I forgot to say Issa yota😂🎉
