How can he assume the questioner hasnt done anything except criticising the scholars. Give him the opportunity to answer what he has or hasnt done.
The Scholars have the responsibility to guide the general public and also guide THE GOVERNMENT AND RULERS and not defend and cover-up the complicity and inaction by them. But most schoalrs today are afraid to do their duty of calling out such rulers and they are very comfortable mocking general public for questioning this.

Dear sheikh why bash others for asking simple question

Just one question, is this how the Prophet SAW would have answered this question? Knowledge needs to be imparted with wisdom.

You can't respond with "what have you done" to such a question...the scholars have massive influence on Muslims all over the world and could much more easily bring people to action such as boycotting/sanctioning and other political pressures. This is not something most people have the ability to do but the scholars do and most are squandering this responsibility.

Why attack the questioner? There are many people including non Muslims are doing whatever they can. The key difference is that I know people who have taken career risks to speak and act according to their capabilities. They boycott, demonstrate, write to their representatives and call out the scholars who despite having a privileged position within the countries who have betrayed the Palestinians will not speak out against their sponsors. This conflict has shown the difference between those who talk the talk and walk the walk. The scholars in the Gulf have chosen their privilege over principle. People won’t forget and neither will the one who watches over all of us.

Sorry Sheikh not good enough. You don't need to jump up buildings. You're a scholar you need to at least encourage the ummah to keep up the pressure all over the world in whatever means possible. The oppression of the ummah needs to be continually highlighted and the scholars are at the forefront of the ummah. Highlighting the oppression of the ummah is not about learning about the people already understand it but it's about keeping the unity strong. Sorry Sheikh with all due respect most of our scholars are on the payroll system.

No.
No one is talking, muslim leaders are in deep slumber. Even some are with isreal.
We have failed the people of gaza.

Stupid answer. Scholars have a much bigger influence than the average person.

Sheikh, it’s clear that the scholars and “leaders” could be doing more.

No it is time the scholars speak up! It’s their responsibility! This is not just a daily khutba topic this is right now happening and need to be addressed

Is this the response for the suffering of our brothers or sisters

Comparing Gaza and masjid Al-Aqsa to every other topic, is just him dodging the question.

Although I have a huge respect for Sheikh Asim Al Hakim for his Dawah work but I know Sheikh gets triggered when a question about political Islam is asked. That's the only thing I don’t learn from Sheikh because he takes it personally.

Even the first row of Fajr Salah is not full and we're opening Masjid's in every block.

Everyone will be held accountable for their actions but those in higher positions like Muslim country leaders and famous Shaikhs like this one will be held to a higher accountability than someone like the one asking the question in this video. A Muslim leader or a Shaikh didn't get to that role because he was smart but rather it was because of Allah's will and blessings he got that position. He will be asked on judgement day on how he utilized that role of his. I'm not in any way insinuating that this Shaikh should call for jihad but at least something to put an end to the genocide of Palestinians.

Why are people today silent when their own daughter goes in a date without hijab, or their mothers attend weddings with freemixing and music where Allahs anger decends, when the khawarij of today pick faults with ulema and the sahaba

thaknobodi

Because the Taghoot is controlling them ofcourse. What answer did the questioner expect?

Only scholars? In many cases scholars are forced to keep silent: Pakistan, Malaysia, Morocco, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, etc the core problem is very poor leadership/governance systems. Let’s admit it : we have pretty bad leaders today but then again these leaders are a reflection of the ummah’s deeds: music, no proper dress code, dirty movies, girlfriend/boyfriends, drinking, zina and affairs by Muslim men and women, bidat, shirk, secularism, riba, culturalism values put over Islamic ones, need I go on?
