The Lord convicted me a few days ago concerning my lack of embracing and rejoicing in His correction. I would allow pride and foolishness to get in the way and would get angry at God when He would lead me to a correcting word. Hearing that it’s the way He loves us and corrects His children is such a relief. Also, it saves us from being foolish. I think of the disciples, all except for Judas were willing to heed to God's correction, and they became such beautiful creations and martyrs in Christ.

I hope this encourages someone to continue reading their word and to rejoice and humble yourself when He chastens you 💗. He loves you so much and wants you to have wisdom. Heeding to correction beats Godly wisdom.

“My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke”-
proverbs 3:11
