I like solo games, but don’t play them a lot if they have a lot of setup time. Sagrada is my favorite because setup is almost identical to a regular game. This seems similar, will have to check it out.

Had some questions on scoring (was scoring the point value on ALL automa cards) and was getting frustrated with how much I was getting crushed each time - thanks for the explanation!!! Can't wait to try again now. 😉

I didn't get the End of round scoring the only and first time I Solo Wingspan yesterday. So I just did whatever. And I won pretty good with the normal difficulty setting.
But I've always heard it's not easy to win against the Automa. Hahaha probably I just gave myself all the points!!
But now I got it! Cheers man.

I'm really enjoying this game. I have solo'd it 5 times so and as usual Stonemaier and the Automa Factory have this down really well. This is a great way to learn the game and it plays easily at 30 mins. PS I loved the Eagle-Eyed-Eagle bit, actually laughed out loud. Keep up the awesome work brothers!

My copy of Wingspan just flew in! Thanks for the rundown on the solo play I think I'm set to jump on in. I have 3 new games with solo modes: Gugong, Wingspan and Fleet: The Dice Game that I'll be exploring in the coming weeks.

Wingspan is definitely a great game. Normally I don’t do a lot of solo play of my games, but I have played this one solo. I felt it was very smooth and balanced. Like you said, it is hard, but that’s good because it is challenging me to create better engines in the game. It’s quick, but still has some depth to it. The look of the game and quality of the components is off the charts great. I am already pumped for an expansion.

What is that bird Honey? Well, that's the extremely rare Eagle-eyed Eagle! See how it's eagle-eyed? I mean, not that it has eagle eyes. I mean.... pfffttt... All eagles have eagle eyes. This rare species is eagle-eyed.
