people actually thought that was slow.. they took your ending comment as literal and proceeded to comment on how the 545i is slow from 0-60. The 545i is fast as shit from 0----> 150 mph. It is especially fast when cruising around 50 mph and you need to hit it to pass a Kia and then you find yourself at 120 mph. The car is so crazy stable and fast.

That's great acceleration if you ask me. BMWs were making great cars long before Americans decided to, you know almost near death for GM and Chrysler before they got their act together. BMWs are meant to be refined in all aspects so if it doesn't do the only thing you Americans like (straight line speed) get another car and leave the BMWs to people who actually like to drive.

Just to be an annoying post commenter on my own post.. I owned an 08 civic Si for 3 years and loved the car. The acceleration was not that impressive when timed 6.9 (0-60), but it felt so fast due to the sound of the engine. The Honda engine sound is so unique from what I have found and the VTEC is so rewarding as far as fun factor goes.

My 545i likes to hide it's beastly qualities and is so silent throughout the entire RPMs at stock. I hope to remedy that.

At high altitudes this is extremely quick. You won’t see factory times in the real world. This is quick enough to beat a 335i and even a wrx sti. Ask me how I know.

If you yearn for more acceleration, I'd suggst dropping in a Nelson Racing engine of @ 2000 hp. Soon, your power requirements will exceed the output of the entire galaxy. Your lucky to have such exotic DNA. Some people are happy with Astral travel.
