I totally feel you on putting 4-star books on your favourites list simply because they stuck with you more than another 5-star read. Interesting how time influences your feelings on a book.
Not gonna lie, I am so excited to dive into Simon Snow. Sounds like I need that type of fun romp in my life.
And I am so happy for you that The Cuckoo was everything you wanted it to be, no better feeling than reading a satsifying conclusion to one of your favourite series.

I'm late, but I read Carry On this year after watching your video and absolutely feel in love. I binged all three back to back and I think I ranked Carry On as my second favorite book of the year? so thanks for recommending haha

Ooh what a fantastic set of books. Ive been totally in the mood to reread Carry On and continue the series thanks to your reviews earlier this year. I think I might need to actually pick up East of Eden because that sounds like something I might love.

I really loved both The Binding and Special Topics in Calamity Physics. I read them both when they came out and they still work for me. You make me want to reread them. A View From the Cheap Seats was the only Gaiman I owed that I had yet to read...and then the baby bunnies I fostered learned to get up onto higher shelves and they ate it. So now I need a new copy. *Sigh* Sobbed my way through Paper Menagerie. Absolutely amazing. Your list is really good and you are doing a good job of keeping the pressure on for Under the Northern Sky. I hate to start yet another series but maybe I do need to.

East of Eden constantly stares at me from across the room, whispering sweet nothings into my ear but it's a big boy and I'm scared to tackle it lol. When I have uni reads out the way, East of Eden will be on my TBR! Great list!

I'm intrigued that you were so impressed by Hyperion. It's been on my TBR for a long time but I just never get around to trying it, probably because my SciFi reading lately has been mostly all Sun Eater. I think it's time to give Hyperion a shot.

I dont remember if you said you have read The Grapes of Wrath, but that is my favorite book of all time. East of Eden is of course so wonderful, TGOW is just heartbreaking and inspiring and want to reread it right now!
