After Albert threatened her with Khalil's life, forced her to marry him, and tried to convince Khalil that she had lied to him, Zeinab remembered something important and came to take the box she had placed in Khalil's closet. It contained an apple and cloves, along with a letter in which she confessed her love for Khalil after he had declared his love for her and his desire to hear it from her as well (she did so because she was too embarrassed to say it face to face). But Khalil came into the room and she couldn't take the box.

Khalil will find them later and learn that she loves him as much as he loves her, that she's lying about her love for Albert, and that she's hiding a big secret. (Albert's threat to kidnap her after the marriage; using a fake passport with her picture on it but in the maid's name, Aso. Thanks to her sister, Salma, they'll see the threatening photos and videos on Zeynep's phone after she forgot it at home.)
