Private space public good: new research explores the private sector's role in community spaces

A new report published by the Bennett Institute for Public Policy and Power to Change explores how the private sector can contribute to social infrastructure – the spaces where people come together and sustain communities - to boost the local economy, happiness and wellbeing.

Co-author, Rosa Marks shares an overview of the report, "Private space, public good: working together to deliver social infrastructure", which finds that an increasing number of private businesses recognise the economic and social value of creating good-quality social infrastructure and working in partnership with local communities and local government to do so.
