Getting Started with Code Composer Studio

Introduction to Code Composer Studio. Applicable for versions 8.x to v9.2.

TI's IDE seems hopelessly addled and complex. My C2000 Piccolo LaunchPad development board (just bought) is not even included in the list so I have to specify the microcontroller F28027. Would like to see the entire process of downloading a relevant example such as LED blink and loading onto my board via the USB cable. I was able to get PlatformIO IDE working some non-TI examples quite easily but not so here.

Hope this helps head off a confusion I had. At 4:50 he was referring not to the Target Config file but back to the project folder. He was done speaking about the config file and was again speaking about the project folder. I got confused and had to listen several times to realize the change in his focus.

Is it possible to create completely portable project automatically? To copy all dependent files into the project folder without any relative or absolute path to depth of my HDD? I don't need to save disk space, but I need to work with my project from various PCs or laptops via clouds or e-mails. It looks quite old-stylish, that project includes so many headers instead of one project file. Have a look to Arduino approach. This is a feature. Thanks!

Hello! Thank you so much for this video. I was wondering if you could answer a question really fast. I can flash my device (cc3200sf), but when it loses power, it forgets everything. am I flashing it to temp memory? Why isn't it staying? I have two, and they both act this way.

what if you don't have device.. i mean kit.. then.. can we run on ide.. as we see device clone in other software.. like ni, packet tracer and all...
