Hello! If you open behind, you will find access to the cartridge converter with out take the section and nib (like some Leonardo or Maiora, I think)
The grey is blueish? Maybe is related to Naples (the futball team of the city use a "celeste" blue in there tshirt) greatings and very nice video!

Love your enthusiasm. and your jokes. I agree - the same color would be better.

The word might be a "stylized" drawing, just a guess.

Stephen another fund and interesting review, of a very nice pen.

So, just a bit of "nitpicking", the idea of the rollerball is very practical, but at the same time not that practical, as you have to carry the rollerball section around without any "protection" (unless you take the box along) or the nib unit. So basically you have to decide what you want to write with on a particular day. Like I said nitpicking.

I am happy this box made you happy this time, SB.

This video was very entertaining. Yes, fumbling for words is funny, so an added thanks for that. Thanks for sharing this attractive pen. I dig the two colors....personally. And please always continue your high praise of smooth writers. No one can deny the value of that, at any price point (Loom). Cheers!

The section and end cap are BLUE, not grey!

Is it just my screen or do the section and end cap look pastel purple/lavender rather than grey?

Nice pen and as always, thank you for the great review. Agree it would look better with the barrel end same ivory-like material as barrel and cap. For me the section could remain a contrast and as you pointed out solve the potential staining issue. Great idea including roller section and refill, raises the question why don’t more pen companies include the roller conversion. With proper marketing this combo could attract the “always roller folk, ” who then could experiment with the “included extra Fountain section” --include a cartridge also for 1st timers.

A minor qualification to Sbre's point about the color mismatch between barrel body and grip section/end cap. Among the six or so models of the Partenope in colorful resin currently on offer, most exhibit the mismatch Stephens addresses. But there is one version that uses the same material from the same resin bar in both barrel and sections. That's the Alba (dawn, obviously in Naples), and there was precious little doubt that would be the one I'd pick, precisely for that reason and however much I loved the intensity of the Fiamma (flame) model.
The Alba looks rather more like a tramonto (sunset) than a dawn IMO but Gioia may have wanted to distinguish their pen from the Montegrappa Ducale Tramonto Veneziano. In any case, beautiful pen, numbered to boot, and well worth the cost if you pick it on sale, as I did.

I agree about the different colours of barrel, tip and section. Can't see a reason for that grey. Besides that, however, an attractive pen, and a talking point.

that's a nice pen! Can someone find replacement nib? Because it's -rice is 189 euros, so what will the the hole pen be useless when the nib will be destroyed?

I would call the box image an illustration.

Hello. Pronounciation is fine but it's Partènope not Partenòpe. It's not grey, it's light blue for the sea and the football team. I find it quite nice, actually. Thanks for the review.

Excellent review. I have a question. I have purchased this fountain pen and I cannot unscrew the converter
Is it a complete piece with the nib area or can it be unscrewed? Thank you for your time. All the best

Meanwhile, Parthenope (or Partenope in Italian) is one of the most horrible names to give to a girl today in Greece ... it means "she that looks like a virgin "(one of the Sirens in Odyssey).
Parthenope is the ancient Greek name of Naples founded by the Chalkidians Greeks.
Nice pen, reasonable price, the colours don't really match as you said.
