Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, a legend of justice -- taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The Lone Ranger also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.

The Lone Ranger will be riding out into Irish cinemas when it's released on 9 August 2013

Depp is the most amazing actor! One time I was on my way to work and my car broke down and I was waiting for a tow truck, and just before it arrived I realized that it wasn't my car that had broken down, it was Johnny Depp ACTING like my car and I couldn't even tell! Well then Depp shook my hand then acted like a pterodactyl and flew away and the tow truck took me home to get my car and I was late for work.

I'm looking forward to it. I find it interesting that pretty much all of the that trailer and the promotional photos so far all have a focus on Johnny Depp more than Armie Hammer.
