I feel bad for blackberry, their recent phones have been on point, but I think the major issue is marketing. I never hear about blackberry unless it's through youtube tech reviews.

The physical keyboard on the Blackberry Keyone has glide typing, just look for it in the keyboard settings and enable it.

I have been using this phone for 6 months now, and I still love it. I don't use it for games, only business/engineering operations. It works! It gets things done. The keyboard and battery life was a selling point for me. And it looks "distinctively different" than other phones out there. If one needs an SD card in there, pop in a 128 or 256 GB SD card in there, and you're rockin'. I love this damn keyboard. Now, back to my coffee.

Just purchased the Keyone online from AT&T about 2 days ago. I am truly excited about receiving it in the mail. I most say your analysis of the keyone by far is one of the most insightful/non-bias perspectives of the blackberry keyone I seen thus far. I'm thinking about switching from the Samsung S8 to either the Black Edition Keyone or the Motion. I just wish that the Motion came in the Black Edition as well. These seem to be good phones for a good price. I pray that Blackberry stays around. This was a very good review.

Glad that Blackberry has not given up on its legendary handsets. I was and is a diehard fan of BB handset and has never really got used to any of the others. Keyone is another class.

It's been great to see the younger people discovering Blackberry. I've noticed that some of the guys from Android Authority using them as well. They really are great for getting work done and absolutely excel at powering through emails. I have never been able to get used to typing in glass. Once you get the hang of that keyboard you will absolutely love it. The old ones with the "smiley" keyboards were the best. I could probably do 80+ wpm with my thumbs and never make a mistake.

I get that it is their flagship but I think it would be a bit more attractive at a lower price point. People are easily wooed by the shiny bezel-less flagships of competitors at the same price, but someone willing to compromise on the "pretty" factor would generally be looking at a bit cheaper than $800 CAD. I hope they stick around though, more competition is always great for us, plus it gives the zealots something to yell at eachother about which is always entertaining.

I've had my BlackBerry keyone for 2 months now and the battery life is amazing and the keyboard was highly missed! After two weeks I can type all my emails and other things super fast. The battery lasts two days, its mind blowing.
