Triumph GT6 - the new engine runs

The first proper start of my restored 1972 Triumph GT6, after seven years of restoration. The car was originally US spec, and the guy I bought it off imported it into Australia as a restoration project.

I've modified it during the rebuild. It's been converted to RHD, and the carburettors and distributor have been replaced by a coil pack and six 40mm throttle bodies. It runs with a Megasquirt MS3Pro ECU.

Next step - tuning!

Sweet; I've owned both GT6 and TR6, so yeah, sixes rule. All Triumph stub axles (the diff end) are a weak spot, though; may be heresy, but I would have love to have done a GT6 with the 2.5 engine and a full Jag rear end!

Wish they produced some with automatic transmission.

Hey, wait a minute. That's a TR-6 engine. I can tell because the GT-6 2 liter engine had its intake and exhaust ports in line. Wow, cool fuel injection.
