Hestia (by Vaonis) followup review: Android software

I reviewed the Hestia by Vaonis five months ago, and found the Android software lacking (in feature parity with the iOS/iPhone software). Five months later, the android app will now locate itself within the night sky (given a dark enough sky and clear enough stars) but I still have not been able to get the software to "stack" a deep sky / night sky image with my Google Pixel 7A camera phone.

Perhaps if I was in a darker environment it would work better for me, but I can't recommend this product for anything other than moon photography or daytime scenery mode. [And even then, I feel that a Dwarf 2, which should cost about the same on the used market, would be a much better option for both daytime and nighttime photography.]

Di nuovo ciao, ho letto la tua risposta è guardato questo tuo nuovo video. Sono possessore di un dobson 8 pollici e pensavo di abbinarci uno di questi Smart telescope . Anche io avevo pensato di usare Hestia come cercatore tipo Starsense. Ma il software ho capito che non va, se non hai IOS. Sto aspettando le novità di Vaonis il 1 ottobre ed il nuovo Zwo S30.
Purtroppo io vivo nel centro di Roma città completamente illuminata e per usare il mio dob devo fare almeno 70 km in auto. Un seestar o un dwarf saranno tra i regali di Natale. Saluti
