US vetoes draft resolution of the UN Security Council calling for an immediate truce in Gaza Strip

The US has been widely condemned after it vetoed a draft resolution at the UN calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. Thirteen members of the security council voted in favour of the draft; the UK abstained.

Al Jazeera’s Senior Political Analyst Marwan Bishara explains the motivations behind Israel's pursuit of the war, nevertheless of its duration.

just to remind you, the EU and America allowed genocide and ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Herzegovina 28 years ago, a genocide that lasted 4 years and they did nothing.
