The Best Resource Room Ever UPDATED!

About 4 years ago I asked one of the teachers I work with if she would share with our viewers how she organized her room with structure and visual supports for her students with resource services.
Now, Chloe Diedam has a new and much larger classroom space that she has organized like a pro! She has created a peaceful, functional, and effective space for students to come to during the school day to get social skill training or to reset themselves emotionally.

Do you have any videos that go more into the day to day, like how to actually run a resource room? How to best serve the students, particularly if you have limited time (30 minute push ins and pull outs) and resources/materials? This is amazing. Your district and school are blessed. I wish I could have had Chloe Diedam as one of My Teachers back when I was an autistic SPED student in elementary school .

i love your classroom space Chloe I was thinking of designing a special education shop class for people with autism and bipolar 1 and 2 types for teaching teens and adults with autism and bipolar to fix their own cars and learn how they work i had some ideas such as ralster images and using programs like Blue driver for programming cars ECU systems i remember using News 2 You as a bass line for special needs students like me i am touched by my heart by how wonderful your classroom setup is in my class we teach mechanical trades based on automotive such as rebuilding car engines and working on all brands of cars like Mitsubishi Pontiac and chevy etc Thanks i would love to have you guys in my future business organization as a classroom teacher or classroom assistant aid

i am in high school and I have autism and anxiety I am in 2 regular classes at school and the rest of the day I’m in a resource room. I have awesome EAs that know what I need during the day. My favorite EA is Jenn W She knows when I need to go out of class when its to loud And I also do work experience at petland and Jenn W is the EA that goes with me in the morning

Emotional disability? So I have bipolar disorder and anxiety it's bad to the point where I can't sit still and It makes where it gets in the way of my learning would students like me get placed in it?

Special education made my life terrible and to be honest with you you seem like you are a good teacher keep it up but the problem I had being in Special Ed I had teachers not helping me very well I had teachers telling me that I'm disabled telling me I have no future After High School and they were correct after many years of high school I'm not doing anything and I do have a job but I'm only working 4 days a week and special education made my life terrible it's the reason why I didn't go to Community College because they told me my grades were terrible my GPA is a d+ keep in mind that I had one months until I graduate high school my stupid teachers special education teachers called the superintendent Army and they were complaining how I want to start the program which it wasn't you I just had a hard time following Direction I had 1 months left until I graduate the age of 21
