New Foundland gets mountains of snow during the winter. They have equipment that carves lanes through snow and heaves it well over 10' over the walls of snow. This Newfy is as happy as can be!

When we lived in the Alaskan bush the huskies would curl up in blizzards and sleep. Their body heat would slightly melt the snow around them and that would refreeze. Had to break them out of their ice eggs a few times, but they were quite comfortable throughout it all. Never a shiver.

My 145lb Newfie "swims" sideways through Clevelend snow and absolutely adores it when the temp is 10°F...argues to stay outside! Fantastic breed!

I had a golden retriever when I was a kid. And when it would snow. He would ALWAYS find a drift up against the fence and bury himself best he could in the snow and fall asleep there. My mom always worried about him freezing. But my dad always said, "he loves it clearly"

For those who don’t know: There used to be a TV commercial/ ad /public service announcement that said basically this… “If you’re cold they’re cold” and told people not to leave animals outside in the snow.
