Great analysis and breakdown! Extremely impressive win by Oregon, excellent coaching on both sides of the ball.

Love the way you telestrate and describe these plays, so even a relative novice like me can understand them. Great breakdown, keep it up! And Go Ducks!

Thank you very much for this well put together analysis. I am an Oregon fan and hyper critical of conservative offenses. I love mis-direction and speed in offenses over size and strength. This discussion helped me understand why I liked what I saw. Lots of mis-direction, get the ball to a back in the open, use the tight end. Now, throw in a reverse and, perhaps, a well timed screen and I'll be very happy. Thanks, again.

Tweeted and subscribed! Love seeing George Moore #77 and pulling RG #53 Ryan Walk get some love. Oregon won b/c they controlled the LOS. Watch George Moore LT #77 seal down, and the pulling RG #53 Ryan Walk snowplows in front. Moore is RS Sr, Walk a RS Jr. #NFLDraft

Great job Coach!
looks like my Buckeyes need some work.
They should start by subscribing to you! 😀

I thought you should have covered CJ Verdale 73 yard run. This just to show what happens when your LB do not stay home.

I've been watching these replays for the entire week, and with every new view, I'm more and more astounded by how poorly the Buckeyes defense is being coached. Not only are the calls putting the players in the worst possible position, there are no adjustments! PLUS, they were substituting so frequently that the boundary play that went for three TDs caught a different player in the Crack block every time. It's mind boggling.

Did NO ONE on the Ohio State staff watch ANY film from when Joe Moorhead was at Penn State?

Speaking of Oregon's past DC, I always used to think that Nick Alioti was an excellent DC stopping power teams like Stanford, UCLA, or even Florida in Rose Bowl. Guessing Helfrich was OC under Chip Kelly, unless he called the plays directly. Having said that, and seeing what Oregon did to Ohio St, I'm even more impressed with with Joe Moorehead. I don't remember Kelly doing, as you say, "aggressive stuff" on offensive. He simply just ran a play in hurry up mode. Then again, if there was no play, Mariota simply just scrambled and picked up enough yardage to keep a drive going. My avatar will always be of Oregon's best Heisman winning QB in school history. I hope Coach Moorehead will consider the "hurry up" if there is a day we face Bama, or Clemson. We'll need it.

Great breakdown and it looked like an amazing offensive performance by Oregon... until 0-3 Tulsa which pretty much sucks on offensive did the same thing to Ohio State. Not sure I've seen a worse Buckeye defense in 45 years on this earth.

How do you get the software to breakdown the film?

why didnt Ohio state make the adjustment and change how their defensive ends were playing that look. Instead of squeezing setting the edge and forcing it inside with line backers and safties filling the wholes?

It just goes to show you that if you just excute you can beat any team. We always put much emphasis on having these highly recruited players and speed. While there's nothing wrong with that I'd rather see execution. Execution and knowing your opponent. People wanna say teams like ohio st and Alabama win because they have the best players, best offense, best defense, blah blah blah. No teams like Alabama and Ohio st win because they do their job. Their students of the game
