The point of leveling your carry to 80 is not just stats, but that your levels are factored in the damage formula both ways. A lv70 unit and a lv80 unit with the same stats will do vastly different damage to a lv90 boss in MoC. The lower level unit takes way more damage as well.

I mean if you build break characters like Silver Wolf, Sushang, Kafka, and etc that 10 level difference is pretty big. Hella expensive to do, but still worth imo.

The main advantage of reaching 80 is more to reduce the level discrepancy between your characters lv and the enemies lv which affects your damage output based on the damage formula.

I just want to point out that stats are not the only reason to level up. My "main" reason for leveling up is to reduce the penalty the game put on me when I fight stuff higher level than my characters.
Things like:
- my debuffs being resisted
- my damage being reduced
- enemy attacks hitting harder
- enemy landing debuffs more often, and so on.

Others have already mentioned the enemy level calculations, so Ill just say that i would prioritize leveling squishy supports and DPS so they dont die as much. Gepard doesn’t need to be 80 nearly as badly as Tingyun does.

Level the characters that have a good lv 75 trace up to 75, like seele and jing Yuen. Those who don’t can stay 70/80. Supports overall could stay at 70 if one wants to save even more. Also taking into account dot and break effect chars wanna be level 80, if you care about pushing MoC

Yeah its not worth it to get 80. The amount of resources needed for what you get is absurd lmao.

its the same thing as in genshin where going from 80 to 90 takes a lot of resources and is basically just an endgame thing that you can do since its expensive but its an improvement, at some point it'll get really hard to improve relics, this is going to be basically the last upgrade that you wanna do

Problem is there is a defense multiplier for the enemy based on the difference between their level and your characters', it actually makes for a considerable difference in damage, for me I only recommend leveling up two main dps characters to 79 like Seele. "thank goodness I have SW to back her up against enemies not weak to quantum"

75 to 78 is my limit. At least for now when resources are limited. Later, like in Genshin, when I don’t care about new characters, I will level to 80.

If you're going up against the level 90 bosses you should take characters to 80 to midigate the level disparity debuff.

Definitely leveling up my main carries. I want them to have as high of a base multiplier as possible and access to all traces. All additional multipliers funnel through the carry's base stats so might as well top them off. The main thing with supports is building them to ensure their utility is consistently provided. Their base multipliers aren't as important. Speed, Energy Recharge and Effect hit rate are the most important things for them to have. Break effect figures into low investment supports, especially if they're often the ones breaking like Asta.

Also consider that stats like HP% for Natasha and DEF% for Gepard are more reliant on higher base stats... but Gepard seems to have a low cap on needed DEF to be a sole sustainer. Natasha seems to be more reliant on high base stats.

75 is the natural stopping point, giving you access to the second last bonus trace and making it so that you are 5 levels closer to the enemy for dmg calcs. Happy medium.

This is immediately wrong yes you don't need to level everyone to lvl 80 but Chars need it to deal maximum damage for example main DPS should always be max level since damage scaling works with levels lower level chars deals less damage against higher level mobs.

Then there is break damage scaling some sub dps who runs break effect builds need to be lvl 80 since break scales better the higher level they are.

for me it's 75, jing yuan gets a 5.3% crit rate, and selee a 10.7 crit dmg, at least for dps i think is worth going to 75

I think you are mostly right. Kefka lovers gona hate this. But consider taking sampo and kefka to level 80 because how dot resistances work.
