He is a disgusting individual. I'm glad she had her documents lined up for her defense. By the end, he sounded like a bumbling fool.

The only thing worse than trying to steal money is deciding to then sue your niece after your brother dies.

Cold day in hell that I would sue my niece or nephew if my sister had passed.
I would be there in her place to love and support them as much as I could.

Wow. Just wow. How are you going to sue your niece for money that isnt owed to you. Not to mention lets say there was still $1000 owed, you're suing for $5000?!? Your brother is probably rolling in his grave with this one!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

The deceased made an excellent choice in appointing his Executor. She was all over those transactions like a rash!

Its a pretty low blow to try scamming your deceased sibling 🙄

Funny how that $1048 wasn't mentioned until his niece had proof then suddenly his story switched up. What a horrible individual.

Defendent came to court confident in her preparation, and won. Good for her.

I have a feeling he thought this would be a quick money grab which is really sad. How can you sue your own family especially after a death. Its insane to me

He was not prepared for her to absolutely destroy his complaint. And she was probably the most confident looking person I’ve seen on JJ. She knew from the start the truth was on her side

Wow! He has access to his brother’s account and with that last $1000 and change he covered all that was left! So sad and insult to his memory. Blood not always equals family

Who needs enemies when you have a brother like the Plaintiff!!! 😮🤬

For once someone came with all the bank statements and all the proper documentation that shows when and how much money was withdrawn. Everything was clear and concise, JJ didn’t have to speculate anything, the proof was in the paperwork. The defendant appeared calm and waited for her turn to explain her evidence, which was actually valid this time around. I love these short and sweet cases.

Very rare case where judge Judy starts with the defendant yet the plaintiff losing

The only way he would give his brother a loan is if his brother gave him access to remove funds from his account? Hmmm I don't like that already, that sounds shady.

When his brother died, he realized the bank account would close, and he could no longer withdraw funds from it.

I know one Uncle who isn't getting invited to Thanksgiving any time soon. Good heavens.

I wouldn't be surprised if this twisted individual approached his ailing brother and scammed him out of the money. How dare he access the bank account and pay himself? How dare he sue his niece, the deceased' daughter, and demand her to pay back the money he was already taking?

It's always when someone dies in the family that you'll discover who people really are. Because their masks fall off and greed takes place. All of a sudden it's not the mourning of a beloved departed, but a rush to split up money and take what isn't theirs to have.

How sad to sue your niece for a small amount of money his brother; her Dad, had owed him before he died!! He’s money hungry & obvious has no conscience! This has to be very hurtful for her! 😔
