I reflect on this song during a period of hatred and saness all over the media, the children of palestine whos limbs and tears are portrayed on my phone, aswell as the injustcice that Congo is experiencing, aswell as the hundreds of ughurs who are also experiencing a genoicde in china but the media remains quiet. The lyrics resognate with the injustice these people are experiencing, whos voices are unheard, as the wealthy western people develop their own land but expoliate and murder the civilans, its as is if theyre inferior to them, Here micheal is creating a platform for me a person who lives in the west but an ethnic minority whos heritage remains in the land of Asia and Africa, this song has encouraged me to leave a career in the sciences and maths and resolute to politics and history, and fight for the rights of the civilans who are being expolited internationally.
