The song is so simple but it expresses exactly how overbearing the weight of human experience can be, that our ability to feel has no greater purpose than carrying on life and if the emotional weight doesn't move you it will just bury you unforgivingly as your chest gets heavier. Poetically our bodies are actually like two thirds water, which frequently leaves us, goes through the water cycle and returns again. This means that at some point when we're sleeping there are clouds with parts of us just drifting peacefully through the night sky.
