He wasn't trying to be the villain he was trying to find a superhero and then he realized he was the villain

The handshake.... one second they're friends, the next second, everything shatters and they're enemies.

Bruce Willis’s finest work. Samuel L Jackson’s finest work. M Night’s finest work. I loved this movie.

“I’m not a mistake.” This is heart breaking because he truly believes his purpose is to be the villain. Almost as if he doesn’t have a choice. As if he is destined to be what he has chosen to be. He has lived a life thinking he was without purpose. This is so common in real life. It’s tragic to see people choose something they feel they’ve been forced into. We always have a choice.

Tears started coming when he said "I'm not a mistake"

So many people over the years have tried to "deconstruct the superhero mythos", "give us a grounded superhero", or "imagine a grittier take on the hero genre".

Shyamalan perfected that take all the way back in 2000.

This movie is criminally underrated. Back when M Night was in his prime.

That’s part where he emotionally says “now that we know you are, I know who I am” and the score hits is nothing short of incredible. A awesome scene

This is as real as a superhero movie is ever going to get. Frightening and beautiful. This is certainly M. Night’s masterpiece.

Bruce Willis reaction as he looks around, shell shocked, is what makes this scene.

One of the best heel turns in movie history.

The scary part is that Mr. Glass labels all his victims as “sacrifices”. He murdered 500+ innocent men, women and children just to find 1 man

You know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world. To not know why you're here. That's, just an awful feeling. I almost gave up hope. There are so many times I've questioned myself... I'm not a mistake

That score really hits at all the right moments. I love how the crescendo comes right before "They called me Mr. Glass."
