How to Attach a Qnique Ruler Base - Longarm Ruler Quilting

In this short video, I share all the steps to attaching a Qnique Ruler Base to a Qnique 19X Elite longarm machine. When attaching a ruler base, make sure to remove your needle and foot so the accessory has space to slot onto the machine.

If the ruler base bracket is fitting super tight, you may have to loosen the screws on the bottom of the ruler base, wiggle it into position on your longarm machine, then tighten up both the screws and the bracket.

Once attached, there is no reason to remove your Qnique ruler base. Leave it attached all the time so all you'll need to do is attach a ruler foot and grab a ruler to begin ruler quilting on your longarm!

*** If you notice the ruler base is reducing the stroke on your longarm machine and shrinking your quilting space, all you need to do is locate the set screws on your quilting frame and shift the front rail outwards. Once adjusted, a Qnique ruler base will not reduce your quilting space!
