I had the same reaction when I got mine yesterday. I got the A7S back in the day and skipped the A7S II because I didn't feel like the jump to 4K was worth me spending thousands of dollars on. Especially since I shoot almost everything at 1080p 60 fps for the option of slowing it down in post and the A7S II couldn't shoot 4K at 60 fps. Anyway, I figured I'd skip a generation and upgrade when they make a camera that can shoot 4K at 60p. Boy was I left waiting... I almost caved and bought a Panasonic but I didn't because I would need to buy new glass as well. Fast forward to 2020 and finally I have my Sony A7S III with 4K 120p recording!

And furthermore, I had a similar thought about the memory cards. 3rd party retailers will surely make cheaper ones later. So I decided to go with the ProGrade 256 GB V90 SD card. The reason is that I already know I'm gonna be shooting 4K 120 fps with this thicc boy. And from the research I did, a V90 SD card is all I need for that. I don't think that the CF express type A card makes a difference when you're shooting at that setting but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, congrats on the new camera. I hope to see some awesome content come from it!

love the excitement! Was going to wait for the A74 but not looking like it’s coming this year, as I wanted a bit better photo capabilities so I could stick with 1 body. Might just have to settle for the 12mp and get this because that 10 bit 422 is looking🍬

I want this camera bad. It is a lot of money and have been watching a ton of reviews. I have not heard anyone talk about clear image zoom and apsc mode. Are they both available and how do they look?
