And NOTHING is going to change. All the same people are still in charge. They will continue to do what evil people do: evil.

I live about 3 miles from this in Brentwood. I drive through here frequently. The Palisades is my favorite place in the city. We are still on edge about a possible evacuation here. The mandatory evacuation line is only about a 1/4 mile away now. I thought things had improved but we are due for high winds again…On a positive note Pali High was saved so that’s a small win.

So sad but California is known for its fires. It happens every year. We lived there in the late 60s we were constantly warned. I knew people who kept a travel bag in there car for fires and earthquakes.
Wish all California my best.

Hang in there Cali. There are millions still in disaster zones across America rn. We know exactly what you are going through. We understand. This is so heartbreaking.

So horrible. If there weren't the titles i couldnt tell if it was Gaza or Los Angeles.

Reminds me of Maui. It’s virtually unfathomable that Los Angeles and California would lack the resources and water to put out any significant portion of the fires.

A friend described the fires 1000x worse than Lahaina. To witness several fires in different areas and it’s ongoing, barely under control on day 3 is insane.

I hope every single official who made Extreme mistakes that made this situation worse than it should have been is held accountable. To have empty reservoirs hydrants that don't work on a lack of Manpower knowing how prone the area is to fires and not cleaning the brush for decades is deliberately stupid!!!

It is so enormous, the devastation ~ I am so thankful the majority of people were able to evacuate safely and feel deeply saddened for those that weren't able too
