Hasselblad X2D - HONEST Opinions 2 Months Later

The Hasselblad X2D 100C is one of the most talked about cameras on the internet, but is it worth the hype? Today I'm going to give my thoughts after 2 months shooting extensively with the Hasselblad X2D to help you determine if its the right camera for you.

Great review. I've used X1D, X1D II, and now X2D with the first generation lenses. Image quality is outstanding and the RAW files can be adjusted A LOT. A light push on the Off button puts the camera in standby, and touch the shutter to turn it on almost instantly. Very comfortable to walk around with, and good battery life. My favorite lens is the 35-75mm zoom. The OpTech strap with the "a" lug works beautifully, securely, and is affordable. Love the camera and the images I get.

paired with some great lesses such as the 80mm 1.9 and the 20-35mm Zoom... this is all the Camera you'll ever want or need - more than worth the hype

I bought an IQ360, IQ280, XF, 645DF+ and a bunch of blue ring lenses instead. Been waiting to buy Phase One for years. Love those CCD sensors.

I want to mention that my main reason for getting the X2D is its amazing image stabilization. The X2D deserves all the praise.

Im a landscaper and shoot with the Sony A7RV with GMII lenses for the best IQ. I sure would like to try a Hassy X2D one day to see the difference. Nice review

A year ago, I discovered photography with my dad's old Sony 7II. Fast forward, I'm now rocking a Hasselblad X2D with the 38mm. Let me be real: it's not perfect. Slow AF, no video, heavy as heck, and those massive files demand tons of storage. Lens options are pricey and limited. But the image quality? Specifically, the colors? They're beyond words. Despite the challenges, I wouldn't trade it. There's something magical about the Hasselblad look

thanks for the review. I took a look at it when it came out and liked the color better than the Fuji. I use now an S3 as a backup/second camera, and I will wait for the S4 to cover that spot, but this might be a good contender. Although as you mentioned, lens availability is a consideration.
