Unpopular opinions:

- UK had a good and catchy song
- Joost would have never won (maybe top 5 or top 3)
- Switzerland was better than Croatia
- Eden Golan doesn't deserv all that hate
- San Marino and Belgium are easy top 5
- Italy could have done top 5 if it was't for RAI leaking Italy's televote results in the semi-finals
- Luxembourg is underrated
- Greece, Serbia and Portugal are overrated
- Slovenia and Poland are underrated
- France was very good but top 4 is overrated

I agree with you on Iceland. There are eurovision years when that kind of songs are alot, and sometimes there are none. Iceland got unlucky as it was the only one to be like this this year

We agree on some, disagree on others - that’s how it usually goes. I do think you did an excellent job explaining for feelings about each song and performance.

This was a great year for Eurovision songs! I especially agree with you about how underrated both Slovenia and Norway were this year, both made my personal top 6.

My top 3 were Croatia, Switzerland and Ukraine, primarily because I had the biggest emotional responses to those songs and artists. Baby Lasagna’s song just fills me with happiness every time I hear it, along with a feeling of wistfulness tied to the lyrics, that’s why it’s my favorite this year. I want to dance and shout out wo~ah when it’s played. But I would have been happy with any of the songs in my top 6 winning this year.

My Top 37 for now, with changes to before the Show: (from Germany)

1. Croatia =
My winner of the season since its release, thats it. This song just fits my Music Taste at 100%. Hard Rock entries in eurovision are my thing and that counts even more
if they do contain such Epic Guitar Riffs. Lyrically this song might sound a bit dumb, but they are actually pretty deep and have cool message.
2. Estonia =
The exact Type of absurdity that I adore. That song has such a weird concept and topic, and thats exactly what makes it so epic. It really
just is so damn Straight Into Face. Also Awesome Instrumentals, funny lyrics and that freakin Dance Break. Coolest entry of the year, and its not even close
3. Italy =
Her stage Presence is beyond Awesomeness, and she improves this Brilliant Song even more.
4. Malta +1
Massive Bop robbed completely. Everything here just slaps, but the rhythm and the Instrumental particulary. And Sarah is easily my biggest crush this year :3
5. Switzerland +3
Immediately gave me winner vibes on the Performance. This song is chaos in the best way possible. So many styles mixed together perfectly. My Favourite Part still is the Rap.
But overall this Song is a Masterpiece, and Nemo is a massively Talented and also really lovely Artist. So happy for them
6. Netherlands +1
An absolute Banger, the Crossover of Rap and Techno works wonders and that Drop will always blow my Head off, its that Awesome. Also I just a have a very soft spot
for Upbeat Stuff in Dutch Language
7. Lithuania -1
8. Cyprus -4

By Far the best Vocal Performance of the Night, this gave me absolute goosebumps. Luckily the People appreciated this entry and gave it a well deserved 4th Place

Just gorgeous, they never miss giving their already Amazing songs a Fantastic staging. Its insane how Ukraine has constantly slayed every year since 2013.
Other then with Israel I also don´t mind the high Televoting result, because Ukraine is a country I can still fully stand behind and support.

Finally a better placing for us, I couldn´t believe it first when I watched the Jury Points. But its deserved, Isaak is a vocal Powerhouse and I love
how much Passion he put in the Performance.
12. Ireland +22
As soon I first watched this live it began to grow on me. I guess the Performance (finally) triggered my Love all over the Place and crazy stuff.
For now I find this entry absolutely Awesome, but I need to watch the Staging for it being complete. Nothing I would regulary listen to

Im so happy for him. His voice is so powerful, and the song is also beautiful. They got the revenge for the Injustice of Aija last year

This just gave so much joy with the Performance. Happy Cultural stuff like this is what we all need at such a Show
And Jaklin is such a cute Performer, and really just a bundle of Joy. Deserved Top 10

Despite being absolutely done with them in Eurovision for now I decided to include their entry. Mostly because I really feel sorry for Eden still.
She is a young and extremly talented girl who had the oppurtunity of her lifetime, and she sadly had to take the hate her Delegation deserved.

When I first saw the rehearsals I already got the feeling this would NQ. The song is still amazing, but they did absolutely not managed to bring over the atmosphere which It
would have needed to be as Powerful as in the Studio Version

Your top 10 is full of gorgeous songs. This year had the best music, shame the organizers messed it up. Apart from one song, I enjoy each one as I bought the CD. The only ones I would put at the back would be bad staging or shaky live vocals but on the record, they all sound good.
