Personal Shopping in Watchmaking; example with UK music group Rudimental

Following on our recent London visit, we decided to show you yet another facet of the watchmaking planet. Imagine that somebody would come and meet you at your place, office and present you watches that would seem the most appropriate to you? Well this notion of “personal shopping” in watchmaking exists and we encountered Matthew J Jones whose main job is precisely that.

Catering to UK celebrities, mainly Premier League footballers, we followed Matthew in this first episode as he was presenting a selection of naturally not so discreet watches to Leon Rolle, a main group member of Rudimental, a very famous Drum & Bass group in Britain. Just minutes away from the sound check preceding the concert held at the huge London 02 Arena, we chatted with both of them to understand better how this all worked.
