unpopular opinion: benley is the best couple on greys anatomy. japril, merder, slexie, jolex, while they are amazing, they fought every chance they got. threatened to leave each other constantly. benley, while they do have their bad times, they treat each other like royalty. they're the least toxic couple and the one that avoids all of the unnecessary drama. ben is aware of miranda's anxiety now and does everything he can to help her. and miranda is very patient with ben as he decides which career he wants to have. if that's not a good marriage, idk what is.

I think a big thing is that they are in different careers. Like bailey was a doctor and he was an anesthesiologist when they met and then he switched to a doctor that’s when more problems started because now they are bringing work problems home but now he’s a firefighter and I think that helps because they still see each other sometimes at work but they don’t have any work problems to bring home. There’s that common interest of helping while having distance.
