Now that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro have been out for over a month, I've had plenty of time to play with them and get a feel for which one is better for my day-to-day activities. And I have to say, this is the first time I've ever felt this way when comparing the base model to the Pro iPhone!

So in this video, we compare the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in terms of camera, battery life, performance, thermals, design and more. By the end of the video, you will have a better idea as to which one you should buy in 2021 or 2022.

What made you choose the 13 Pro over the 13 (or vice versa)?

Pro is just too heavy compared to 13. Pro motion is nice but after seeing both and adjusting my eyes to each, I think the added weight/discomfort of the Pro is enough to make the 13 a better balanced experience.

This is the first year I went with the smaller Pro. i usually get the Max but its just too big and heavy this year. Sometimes I miss the bigger screen but for the most part im happy with the 13 Pro. I thought about just going for the regular 13 but I really like 120hz.

Went back and forth over the Pro vs. Regular and ultimately I don't take enough photos or video to justify the extra cost. I don't game so the extra cores and memory I don't care about. The camera on the 13 is still the best of any phone I've ever owned regardless. Maybe next time I'll get the Pro.

Great review. I’ve owned this 12Pro for exactly a year. While I like the phone, today I ordered the 13 promax, 256 gig, as an upgrade. AT&T has some pretty good trade- in offers. Higher refresh rate, better cameras, better battery… All make this a pretty attractive upgrade. Normally I keep a phone 2 to 3 years. And, I wanted to go back to the max sizing.

I went with the Max because I found I don’t stress my eyes with the large screen. I really liked the mini size but I needed to smash my face on the screen to see comparing to Max (I have short eye sight and sensitive to light)

went from and xs max to 13 pro max and so far loving the promotion display along with the bigger battery is just insane, im always heading to bed with around 30% always left on my phone. I do feel the the weight the more i pull it out of my pocket but honestly i love the hefty feeling

I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro Max for two days and I really can’t tell the difference with the 120 Hz promotion display over my previous iPhone 11 Pro Max. But I can definitely tell the difference with the blacks and the whites and the brightness. And the battery is amazing OMG!

yeah defo agree with this, like the pro is generally worth it and doesn't cost like way more than the base model, I feel like if you're spending a lot anyway might as well get the best you can which this year is worth doing.

Yeah, the 120hz is a massive difference. Like you say, when you go back to a 60 it feels like your having a stroke.

I have the iPhone 13 Pro and I quite enjoy it. What makes this significant to me is that this is my first device with face ID and after have reservations about the switch, I'm used to it now.

Minor differences between 13 and 13pro so I went for 13 and super pleased with what cameras, battery, performance. In my opinion, it's not worth the extra money for 13pro

As far as we can remember, we hear the same sentence at the end of every year; "let’s wait for next year’s iPhone" then that year comes and for some, it may or may not meet expectations and as usual that’s totally fine too right. I took the bait 😬 I ordered (Happy & scared@ the same time) and now waiting for a 13 Pro Max by end of NOV. As a heavy user, I’m happy for the battery reviews and the extra features are welcome. But not gonna lie, it’s expensive, but I’m looking at it as an investment for future trade ins. I saved little bits of $ from beginning to end of year to make it less financially harsh. 🙂

If you planned to buy 13 pro then just spend extra 100 dollars more for pro max…you won’t regret for bigger screen and better battery life trust me I switched 13 pro max from 12 pro and I sold my 12 pro after a month and waited for iPhone 13 series released and bought 13 pro max and now really satisfied with the choice…my hands are not so big but 6.7 screen is not extra large
