I did AIT there in 1992 for 91B field medic (66W now). Old Fort Club Med has been through some changes I see. We were all aware even then it was a beautiful base with fantastic nearby amenities and attractions and that our future duty posts probably weren't going to be as nice.

I don't miss being on base, I do miss the amenities that you got for free on there. My time was short there but I definitely remember it all from the Air Force side of the base.

I miss being in the military. I live here and miss the traveling. They have really changed Ft. Sam.
