Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson both scored to ensure that the Vancouver Canucks stayed perfect under new head coach Bruce Boudreau, as they defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1.

Vancouver games has become so much more entertaining to watch. Demko being a non stop beast in the goal. Finally seeing some speed and shooting from Pettersson. Boeser with a goal to quiet some of the haters. Carolina might have been tired and on the road, still Vancouver plays a whole diffrent game from a few weeks ago.

Ok, THAT was a real effort. Possession is integral to scoring in hockey and that comes from solid positioning, accurate passing and winning battles for the puck. I saw a lot of this from the Canucks here. Finally.

The coaching change and Petey going back to his old, shorter stick has done wonders for his game. He looks like a different player out there.

Now if we can fire the entire Vancouver Media so we don't have to hear the many angles they use to defend Green while only bashing Benning who's team is looking like the one we expected going into preseason!!!

I really wonder what Jim Benning and especially Travis Green are thinking right now.

This is why I don't understand why fans were defending Green because of 'the team he had in front of him.' Boudreau has the same team and it's night and day (so far). I'm harder on Green than Benning except for the lack of communication.
