"Autumn is here guys start stealing nature" that line made me chuckle :) Fall is my favorite season! Sorry about your cancelled plans but at least you guys enjoyed some part of it :) The Wall does not sound like a book I would personally enjoy reading. I hope the next book in the list will be more enjoyable for you :D

Hi Hannah. I read The Grown up last night. I was really impressed with how she created a world in such a small amount of pages. I wasn't sure if it was a ghost story or a mystery, which I actually didn't mind. I quite liked the ambiguity about the story and the ending. I must admit I did feel like it was an excercise to something bigger. Like she was building a a plot and characterization and situation for something bigger. I wanted to know more about the character of Miles and what he was really again there was ambiguity about that. I did like it but I think it needed more depth. I want that sense of dread and turmoil which I didn't experience, but think I would have done with more story. I'm definitely interested in reading more by her!

I love fall (autumn), but we are in the dog days of August and it's very hot and humid. I love to snuggle inside when it's cold and rainy and dark but we have a while yet before that happens. Daylight savings time is still in. It ends in October usually. I'm praying for no hurricanes this year.(I got one for my birthday last year in September).
