This deck is a personal favorite. I love the art style so much. And it reads beautifully. There is something about this deck that I find very clarifying. When I am cluttered emotionally, it's the deck I reach for. While the colors are soft, it isn't overly gentle. It tells you what you need to know and hear in a straightforward but not harsh way. Very balanced. And I think the court cards are especially well done. 🌻💙

When I consider getting a tarot deck it's always the death, tower, devil, 10 of swords and 3 of swords that make or break a deck for me, because those cards are the ones that frighten me. If those cards are too dark or confronting they completely put me off the deck. I tend to gravitate more towards gentle decks, like the Torot of the Hidden realm and the forest of enchantment tarot.

I bought this deck last year. I agree with you, the art nouveau and gold foiling is stunning on this deck. So what I used it for was Winter readings cause it gave that little bit of light. For me it reads beautifully. ✨💕

Great cards " I always look.for the fool.and magician and seven.of pentacles and if I dont like them I usually dont purchase the deck. But this deck is in a league of it's own. I think I will add it to my collection. For that devil.card alone.

The Ethereal Visions Tarot is the very first tarot deck that I owned - my mother bought it for me as a gift, and I fell in love with it the moment I opened it. Using that deck taught me so much about tarot, and helped me to connect with my intuition greatly. When I first began reading tarot, I very much so doubted my skills and questioned myself almost always (I still sometimes do, but less so now than before), and I have since become very comfortable with my abilities, and very connected to my intuition. This deck was just the beginning for me, and I loved it dearly, but I have since passed it on as a gift myself to my friend when she began her own journey reading tarot. She loves it just the same, and I do hope she keeps up the tradition of gifting the deck when it's ready to move on to help the next beginner.

I love this video! Thank you so much for reviewing this deck! It is on my wishlist! I already have the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot, which I absolutely love, but I think that the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot is different enough to accommodate both even though each deck is in the art nouveau style. The Ethereal Visions has a brighter and lighter feel with all the white and softer coloring; I can see it being a more positive oriented deck. The Golden Art Nouveau has deeper and richer coloring and texture with the gold embossing and feels a more grounded to me. However, I am one that doesn’t feel that one can have too many decks if one feels called to use a deck and connects intuitively with the cards.

When it comes to specific cards either making or breaking a deck, I always check the three of swords. Some beautiful and popular decks depict the swords going through the heart of an animal, usually some type of bird. I can’t help but cry because I am way too sensitive and empathically connected to animals (especially birds) to use such decks. It’s a dealbreaker for me.

I was on the fence with getting this deck for ages, but after watching your flip through, I find that I really love it and have to get it one day! So thank you for making this video! As for the card I usually look out for when choosing decks, I'd have to say it's the hermit! And on the topic of using decks for readings, I usually pick a deck intuitively! Whichever deck calls to me is the one I use :3
