Thank you for advocating for wolves! I live in Colorado and we just started reintroducing wolves in the last two years. It’s so hard to see all the ignorant people who want to kill the wolves. They have no idea how important wolves are! If any of your viewers are in Colorado and are interested in seeing wolves or learning more about them, The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is a great sanctuary and very educational! *edit: I am specifically talking about the latter part of the video where Corbin explains that modern wolves are a keystone species.

Wow! I had no idea that they could get DNA from fossils! That’s amazing!

Is this how you make wolves?
Alan Grant: No this is how you play God

When the dire wolves are soon going to be released into the wild, I have a feeling Corbin might have a dire wolf to take care of! I would be exited if that happened!

We have to accept the fact that, nothing is impossible for future humans.

Being from the Carolina's I hope they bring back the Carolina Parakeet too... it went extinct because women in the late 1800's liked using them as decoration in their hats and as broaches ect... last known wild specimen killed in 1904, declared extinct in 1939

This is always going to be a polarising topic. Some will agree some won’t. At the end of the day, if they’re reintroduced to control a species that will likely overproduce and become a pest to the point human culling laws will be brought into place. Then I’m all for this species being reintroduced from extinction to help maintain the ecosystem.

Given the phenotype is so good I'm comfortable with calling them "dire wolves"; despite knowing they are not 100% as such.

They should bring back The thylacine it's one of my favorites and it actually was a creature that was living in extinct within our lifetime some say they're still catch some in Australia so if there is some survivors it would be good to make more of them. It is also known as the Tasmanian tiger or wolf

Like this is cool and all bring back with the extinct animal but I feel like we should be focusing on making sure animals don’t go extinct in the first place which happens every single day
