I'm Canadian. Back when Trump was president (The 1st horrifying time) and put tariffs on Canadian steel, I literally lost my job, along with 6 of my co-workers. I worked for a company that shipped steel from the Canadian U.S Steel in Nanticoke Ontario to Michigan and other states. We were in the middle of loading a barge and got the call to stop because all of our U.S customers just canceled their orders because of the tariffs.
