Outside my farm I’ve used the garden pots in place of fences and I’ve planted some tea leaves so it just looks lovely in the spring- fall seasons when the plants have leaves.

i love using the mini obelisk as a way to move between my coop and my barn in the morning. makes morning chores a lot quicker!

Okay I know you are a stardew girlie but try Dragon quest builders 2, its very similar but has a larger story. You can build a lot, despite the lack of romance the npcs give hearts (a type of currency later on). It has a demo on switch and is around 60$ usd. The mining is fun but unlocked later on, the 3rd chapter is my fav and I love it. The finale is so fun and you will(spoiler removed) love it! The monsters are creative as well. While it has some small cult themes part of the story is really fun, though sadly you cant revisit that spot ever again. There is some dlc, though you dont need it(it adds fishing). Ive played 300+ hours on it. My current project is rebuilding chapter 3's main area. My overall goal is to rebuild every island.

Also!! If you encounter an infested level, clear it and then exit the level, and then enter the same level again for easy farming!!

I usually choose the four corners farm as my home. I like it's symmetry. The only problem is that the farm totem statue is right in the middle of the farm. I have passed out so many times rushing back to the house. When I unlock mini obelisks, one goes on my porch, the other by the farm warp.
