I use one of these for testing Redtoast and other such things, gotta have something that reinstalls Windows 98 as quickly as possible.

When I put my P3 build back together again; I bought one of these chips for it. You had to make sure the motherboard supported it. Luckily mine did. Ya it is a fast chip. Combine that with 512 MB of RAM; SSD drive or SD card adapter with a decent Graphics card and you got one heck of a Win 98 PC machine. I did start out restoring it for windows ME then I added windows 2000. I have a HDD swap tray in one of the 5 1/4 bays and I have 3 swapable drives so it's good for all 3 OS's. I'm sure it could handle XP no problem too; but I got a P4 for that OS. I have a 3 part video if your interested in my build; on my channel. It's just called the "Pentium 3 Rebuild" No where near the quality video production you do; but it's there LOL...

Great CPU, Almost as fast as an Athlon Thunderbird at 1.4, and ironically faster than a Pentium 4 at 1.7 Ghz. P4 really was a turd :P

I just bought one of these! Waited a month for it to come from Slovenia. I'm waiting on the CPU cooler for it so I can upgrade my 550mhz p3 gaming rig. I really want to pair it with a Geforce4 ti 4600, but of course they're expensive and rare bc Phil said they're the best DX8 card :(

I remember this era well! I went with amd for that generation as there athlon lineup was not only cheaper but faster aswell
