So, Terry... You captured the essence of human nature in times of crisis. The attitudes ran from a happy young lady doing her best to feel like she could make a difference to an older gentleman sitting alone on a park bench, really not sure what to do. I could almost smell the gasoline as you described it. This video was raw, truthful and kind. While watching your vlogs, I have often gotten goosebumps, wept and laughed and had my heart filled with pride to be an american and faith in mankind. And I also think that your documentation is the best I have seen.

We have to remember we aren’t Democrats or Republicans, WE ARE AMERICANS!

Another amazing video, ty. It's so weird to see the calm clear day with the birds chirping then to see the utter destruction. I admire the Florida's people and their strength and courage.

Barefoot, It brings tears to my eyes every time I watch the lady at the beginning waving the American Flag with the Star-Spangled Banner playing in the background. That is what the True American Spirit & the great people of Florida are all about. Thanks to the locals for the informative interviews. God Bless all the people on the Gulf Coast as they rebuild & restore their lives & their hometowns. My heart just breaks for our Gulf Coast neighbors.

Up late again tonight, Terry - watching your latest upload! You are - and have been - doing a really great job in accurately and 'sensitively' narrating the very 'real' impact that this devastating Hurricane has had on so many Floridian's lives! Tony, UK.

Thank you Terry for putting yourself out there in some horrific situations. We are only getting a portion of what it looks like at home on the news. You are giving us first hand insight and it is just gut-wrenching to watch. We thank you for doing this for those of us who actually can’t see first hand what these people have and continue to go through. Please stay safe and thank you. Natalie 🙏🏻

Just so heartbreaking, thank you so much for going out and speaking with people! Us in the south are very pleasant and would do anything to help. Sometimes we need laughter to keep from crying! Thank you sir !!

It's crazy to see what mother nature left relatively unscathed and then see a boat harpooned by a pier. Hearing reports of 52 foot surges or waves. Prayers for all of those affected

My heart goes out to all the people affected by Hurricane Ian and Fiona. People are probably going through PTSD.. I know people are taking care of each other and that's the most important thing anyone can do in these situations... Be safe

Terry, you are always respectful to the people you are talking to. If they don’t feel like talking, you move on.

14:05 wow that is incredible. The dock piling "impaled" that big boat! That boat must have been floating over the piling then the water reseeded and the weight of the boat just forced the pole through the hull bottom right through the cabin and deck. Amazing.

My heart still completely goes to everyone that has lost EVERYTHING they have. Being a Floridian, just knowing that many are without a home, power and all of the above is soooo sad. We get to watch this coverage in our comfortable environments while many do not have that luxury. Just sad:(((( I came across this video in my feed and this area took a beating BUT where my family is looks like a BOMB dropped!!

I'm watching this at work and Terry, this is excellent. You could document this for the next 10 years... 👍

Edison, only lived in Ft. Myers in the winter, (he was a snowbird) that was his winter home. In fact, it was built in Maine, and floated down there on a barge. They told us that when we took the tour. The Mocking birds song was great in this video, thanks.
